For the third consecutive year, Koniag Information Security Services (KSS) was name to the 2016 Washington Business Journal’s list of Top Small Technology companies.  Climbing four spots from last year, KSS came in at #11 for 2016.  This is the third honor KSS has received so far this year.  In March, KSS was named one of the Washington Business Journal’s Top Minority Owned Business for the D.C. Metropolitan area.  And in April, KSS was named by the same organization as one of the Top Government Technology Companies.

Washington Business Journal Names Koniag Information Security Services to List of Top 25 Small Tech Companies

The Washington Business Journal named Koniag Information Security Services (KSS) to its list of Top Small Technology Companies for the Washington, D.C. region for the second consecutive year.  KSS climbed eight spots from last year to come in at #15 in 2015. 

This is the second honor KSS has received in 2015. In March, KSS was named one of the Washington Business Journal’s Top Minority-Owned Businesses for the D.C. metropolitan area.

Koniag Information Security Services wins an up to $33m DARPA support contract

Koniag Information Security Services (KSS) is pleased to annouce another achievement for the Koniag, Inc. family of companies that includes Frontier Systems Integrator (FSI). Adding to its recent run of government contracting success, rapidly growing KSS competed for and won the five year contract for Security Support Services for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Support Services Office (SSO), Security and Intelligence Directorate (SID). Ed O'Hare, Senior Vice President of Koniag's Government Services Sector commented: "We are honored to have the opportunity to serve DARPA's SSO, SID. This competitively won 8(a) contract is a testament to the Koniag's commitment to exceptional service and ability to adapt to shifting budgetary constraints." The Base Year for this Cost-Plus Fix-Fee contract begins in January 2014 with four succeeding Option Years.

Koniag Information Security Services of Chantilly won a contract worth up to $2.9 million from the Defense Department for professional, administrative and management support services.
